Join 200+ hackers from across Europe and beyond for the European Defense Tech Hackathon on November 6-8, 2026, in Copenhagen (Kongens Lyngby), Denmark. Connect with fellow defense innovators, meet potential co-founders, and work on projects that have the potential to save lives. Challenges are based on real-world problems, or bring your own project, with feedback from experienced mentors and a path to real-world deployment after the hackathon. Challenge tracks: 10-15 challenges across domains, with three mission-critical focus areas — Acoustic Detection (passive, real-time acoustic systems that detect and localize drones, gunfire and vehicles faster than radar or vision), Combat Medics Support Systems (digital tools and biosensors giving frontline medics speed, accuracy and automation under fire), and Unmanned Surface Vehicles (autonomous maritime platforms for ISR, strike and denial). Goals: solve urgent defense and security challenges sourced from frontline partners in Ukraine, NATO and across the EU; launch new careers and companies; and strengthen Europe through defense innovation. Visitors: join the Demo Day on Sunday as an EDTH Community visitor. Community members get free access to all EDTH Community events for one year. Registration has moved to the EDTH community platform.
